Athenry Historical Network in association with Facebook group ‘Athenry As Was’ and in memory of Noel Glynn hosted a photo exhibition of Old Athenry photos and images in Amicitia, Old Church St from the 13th to the 16th of August, 2019.

Retrografik / Joe Coyne provided 25 large prints of images, postcards and posters, most of which had never been displayed in public before. These images came from my private collection.

The photo’s, posters and postcards were scanned at high resolution, edited and exported from Photoshop, to 300 dpi PDF masters for printing on high quality paper at Vistaprint in Holland. These were then mounted on 5 mm black mounting foamboard, with description of photo, date and source on a separate white info card, placed beside the photos.
